In the UK, MTA process chillers across all of these ranges are commonly supplied and badged as ICS chillers, so the unit on your plant may carry either name. The machine underneath is the same, and we service and repair them either way.
The range we see most. Air-cooled process chillers with scroll compressors, an internal tank and pump, and the evaporator-in-tank arrangement MTA use for industrial duty. Units run on R410A and are typically controlled by the IC208 series microprocessor. We service and repair the full size range, from the small 015 and 020 units up to the larger 600 and 800 series machines.
The earlier generation, still working hard on plenty of UK sites. Parts availability is more limited than on current models, so diagnosis matters: we would rather find the actual fault than replace parts speculatively on an older machine. Where a unit is genuinely beyond economic repair, we will tell you and quote a like-for-like or upgraded replacement.
The iC range is the newer equivalent of the TAEevo. Our engineers work on them regularly: refrigeration circuit, hydraulics, controls and spares. If you want an independent option for service or a breakdown on one of these units, we can help.
We hold commonly used spares for the TAEevo range at our Oldbury depot, and our engineers carry a wide range of common parts on the vans, including pumps, fans, contactors, sensors and pressure switches. We can source manufacturer parts for the wider range. MTA is the make we look after most, with over 300 MTA and ICS-badged chillers currently on our maintenance register, so the parts we carry are the parts these machines actually need. Carrying stock is what turns a two-visit repair into a one-visit repair, which is the difference that matters when a machine is stopping production.
MTA equipment in the UK is widely supplied through distributors, and plenty of our customers came to us because they wanted an independent option for service, faster attendance, or simply a second opinion on a repair quote. We are happy to take over maintenance of MTA units supplied by anyone, pick up the existing service and F-Gas records, and carry on from there.
