We survey, size, supply, install and commission industrial process chillers from 1kW to over 1MW, and then maintain them. Most of the work is done by our own engineers rather than subcontracted, so one team is accountable from survey to handover.
Based in Oldbury, we install across the West Midlands and surrounding counties, and take on installation and commissioning projects UK-wide.
Every site is different, but a typical project runs through these stages.
An engineer visits, measures up and looks at the process, the existing plant, siting, access and services.
We calculate the cooling load, size the chiller, pumps and pipework, and specify glycol where it is needed.
Delivery, offload and positioning, including lifting. We handle the lift rather than leaving it to you to arrange.
Flow and return pipework, valves, strainers and insulation, connected to your process.
Power connection and controls wiring from your supply point to the chiller.
Filling, venting and, where required, glycol to the correct concentration for your lowest operating and ambient temperatures.
Full commissioning and performance testing before the system is handed over (see below).

New chillers we supply come with 12 months parts and labour warranty, with extended cover available. Because our own engineers commission and then maintain the plant, warranty work and routine servicing come from the same team, and your planned maintenance plan can start from the handover date rather than months later.
We are happy to commission a chiller installed by another contractor. If we find something that is not right, for example undersized pipework, poor flow, incorrect glycol or an unsafe electrical connection, we will flag it clearly and, where the system is not suitable to run, we will leave it switched off until it is corrected. It is better to find that at commissioning than during production.
It depends entirely on scale. The chillers we supply range from units the size of a television to plant the size of a single-decker bus. A straight like-for-like swap of a small unit can be done quickly, while a large installation with new pipework, electrical works and craneage is planned over several days and phased around your production. We will give you a realistic programme with the quotation.
Tell us what the chiller needs to cool and we will take it from there. If you have a cooling load in kW, a flow rate and the temperature you need, even better. If not, we will work it out with you.
In most cases, yes. The majority of installation work is carried out by our own engineers. On larger projects we may bring in specialist support, but we stay responsible for the job and the commissioning.
Yes. We arrange and carry out lifting and positioning as part of the installation, including rooftop and restricted-access sites.
Yes. We supply on a supply-only basis as well as full turnkey. If you install it yourself, we can still attend to commission the system and record the performance readings.
